White River Poster
The White River is a part of my daily life. Living across the street from it, I am aware of it’s changing flow, the creatures that call it home, and the regulars who visit it’s edge. This particular part of the river is located in Muncie and the capturing of the photo cost me a decent pair of Vans but was well worth it.
This is a woodcut printed in only three colors that are overlayed to create “bonus” colors and that retro look. I was careful to keep the ink application at the right level to allow the wood grain shine through. This is an 11 x 14 print on a 12 x 18, 80lb eggshell finish paper. Though it is easy to frame, the print alone is what it shipped. There is a lot of intention and love put into this work. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
