Moths to a flame or in this case a light bulb. This imagery always reminds me of camping when I was young. I’d go to the public areas of the campground, and the moths would be clamoring for the light. The light bulb was made using a lot of material around the shop at Tribune Showprint, the oldest continuously operating letterpress print shop in the United States, using parenthesis, two woodtype O’s, and wood lines. I hand-carved the moths and their background.
